Our Story

Kyle and Jenna met in their Physics class their senior year while attending Miami Palmetto Senior High School. Jenna first remembers liking how tall Kyle was and Kyle remembers thinking it was awesome Jenna was designing electrical diagrams for her Battlebot. Jenna thought Kyle was cute and so devised a plan for them to interact more by asking him to design the logo for her Battlebot team since Kyle was really into graphic art. After a couple weeks, on May 3, 2003, Kyle asked Jenna on a date via email, with the subject line "Tonight, Tonight...like the Smashing Pumpkins Song!" They both had a really good time and so Jenna asked Kyle to go Prom with her, over her AOL Instant Messenger (do you notice a trend here?) away message, which read, "I wish someone would ask me to the Prom...hint hint." Kyle asked Jenna and the rest is history. It's apparent that none of this would have happened without the aid of technology because they were both too introverted to take the first step. But alas, by the time they started dating they were already accepted to different universities! This prompted several trips to the great frozen north (Michigan) because for some reason Jenna didn't want to come back to Florida. After doing long distance for three years, Kyle joined Jenna at Michigan for his graduate degree and Jenna began her quest to get Kyle to sing 'Hail to the Victors.' Jenna later followed Kyle to Minneapolis for his job with Eaton and so the story continues. In the Fall, Kyle and Jenna are moving back to Michigan for Kyle's second rotation with Eaton.
